Ok, What do Beyonce and Lady Gaga have cooking up their sleeves?

From the looks of things, Beyonce isn’t just out here promoting “ratchet” without a purpose. She’s more than likely promoting a new single with Lady Gaga that may be hitting the Internet very soon.

Over the holiday break, Bey had the Internet going nuts after she posted a photo of herself wearing a pair of ratchet earrings to Instagram. According to a few keen eyed fans, Gaga Instagrammed a photo wearing a similar pair of earrings back in September of 2012 and the ladies are promoting a new song.  Azealia Banks also confirmed in an interview last year that she recorded a track by the same name for Lady Gaga but she wasn’t sure if it was going to get released.

Here is a bit of zipper history. The "clasp locker" as it was called, was invented in 1891 by Whitcomb L. Judson. The clasp locker was an assemblage of hooks and eyes that Judson thought would save people time and sore backs fastening their shoes with one hand. Later, in 1913, Gideon Sundback of Sweden developed the predecessor of today's zipper that used metal teeth, and patented it in 1917. Sundback's design was the first design that saw practical use. Sundback's "separable fastener" had more fasteners per inch than the earlier clasp locker. Later, the B.F. Goodrich Co. used the separable fastener in some rubber boots and came up with the name "zipper" because the boots could be fastened with one hand. Today, zippers are also made of plastic as well.

ABIDJAN, Jan 1  - About 60 people were crushed to death in a stampede outside a stadium in Ivory Coast's main city of Abidjan after a New Year's Eve fireworks display, the government said on Tuesday.

The incident took place near Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium where a crowd had gathered to watch fireworks, emergency officials said.
